Atlanta Select salutes Xavier Rubio, a ninth grade student athlete from Dacula High School. Xavier is a 6'4" basketball player that is averaging 10 Pt's, 5 Rb's and 3 blocks per game on his local recreational team.
Xavier is from the Dominican Republic and his family are friends with the family of Al Horford of the Atlanta Hawks, another outstanding basketball player from the Dominican Republic. I am sure Xavier is proud of his fellow countryman and strives to be a positive personality and dynamic basketball player just as Horford.
Xavier's mother is a co-worker of Coach Moore, coach of the Atlanta Select 15u Boys BLACK Team. They have discussed Xavier and his family joining the Atlanta Select organization. We would welcome them to our Select family and would continue to develop and promote Xavier in his effort to fulfill his dream.
