Head Coach Keith Jackson will lead the Mighty First Grade RED team. After coaching Middle and High school teams successfully in Detroit and Washington, DC., Coach Jackson has brought his talents to the ATL. This Educator will teach basketball and life skills to some of our youngest student athletes. We are confident that he will thoroughly implement the pillars of Atlanta Select - EDUCATION - LIFE SKILLS - SPORTS.

I played for the Atlanta Select from 2005 until 2008, and I must say this was the best AAU organization I have ever been apart of. All of the coaches were always there for me whenever I needed them and the things that they taught me went deeper than just basketball. I have a lot of love for the Atlanta Select and all those involved with them, and for the players in the program now, I hope you have just as great of an experience as I did.

What does it takes to win a college basketball scholarship? Ask Brandon Dawson. First - Be a respectful citizen. Second - Be a student scholar. Third - Be a dynamic talented player. Brandon, a senior at Tucker High School, signed his "Letter of Intent" to attend Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw, GA on Monday, November 16, 2009. In attendance were his proud parents and siblings, his high school basketball teammates, numerous teachers and classmates and his AAU coaches from throughout the years.

Atlanta Select supported his dreams as he played for the 14u, 15u and 16u Atlanta Select Black Team coached by Coaches St. Clair, Daniel and Dawson. During that time he traveled all over the nation, winning numerous championships and gaining maximum exposure. He participated in the Adidas 150 Phenom Camp in California twice and was rated/ranked in the top 20 of 150 student athletes, both times.

Brandon excelled at Tucker High School under the direction of Coach Hartry as the team consistently competed in the Georgia State Championship 6AAAA Division.  His team was rated as the fourth best team in the state for the 2008/2009 season.  Tucker HS was a force again his senior year and Brandon played a key role.

Kennesaw State recruited an outstanding basketball player but more so a fine, respectful, smart student athlete. Atlanta Select is extremely proud to have supported Brandon in his quest and is pleased that he has earned the opportunity to Move to the Next Level. Go BRANDON! - 

Brandon transferred to Columbus State University for his senior year. He continued to excel. Go Brandon. Go Select!!!

Last Skills Development Camp for the 2013-14 Season. This Sunday, Jan 26, 2014

Our first session was 8 years ago, Sept 2005 at the MLK, Jr Rec Center.

Since that time we have held sessions every Sunday from Sept to
Jan each Fall from 2005 to 2014.  This Sunday, Jan 26, 2014 will
be the last session for this AAU season. We will begin TRYOUTS
for our teams beginning in February 2014.

Coach Hill, Coach Baskerville and the entire Atlanta Select Cadre
would like to thanks the 126 student athletes and their parents for
supporting our camp this Fall. We invite you to our final session
this Sunday, Jan 26, 2014. Remember, Just Go Select!!!

The Mighty Sixth Grade Lady Select RED just keep rolling along. 
This past weekend they played up in the 8th grade division, 
took the game to overtime, lost by two, but earned another 
trophy for the season. Coach McCrae and his ladies are off 
to a banner year with their third trophy already this season.
