Good Morning Select Select Family, Friends and Fans,

Our theme a couple of years ago was DISCIPLINE - The Bridge Between Goals & Accomplishments. It was our theme then and still today. We should all have goals - a vision that we want to accomplish. But we must have a sound constructive plan to reach those goals. And to do so we must apply Discipline to do so. That is my theme in guiding this organization. "Establish a Plan, Then Work It". My plan was to guide this organization to be the best it can be and with your commitment, dedication, and loyalty we have achieved such and much.

 A year later we announced a another theme PERSEVERANCE - It's Hard To Beat A Person Who Never Gives Up. Yes, as an organization we have accomplished much. And it is because we do not rest on our laurels, we continue to 'Keep on Pushing, Thus, making the Best Better.

The year 2015 was our Best Year ever. We had 345 Atlanta Select AAU members, earned 135 trophies as an organization, saw our student athletes excel in the classroom and many found their dreams coming true by moving smoothly to the next level. Above all we Kept our Good Name. And finally, we celebrated 10 years of continued progress. Our organization has PERSEVERED for 10 years. We never gave up.

A shout out to "You", head coaches that have all 3 tees above. Loyalty!!! Wear them them pride.

Now what do all of the above "Feel Good" statements above have to do with the NEWS today? Everything. It is letting you know we are still on the move and last weekend is a testament to that accord. Our teams continue to participate in some of the most challenging tournaments and half the teams that played earned trophies. Please visit our "Current NEWS" tab on our web site or our Face book page to see who achieved that success. All but one team is posted. I learned late Sunday night that our Lady Select BLACK Diamond Premiere also was in the mix earning Runner-Up status in their Championship game. We earned 9 trophies last weekend. 

The Trophy Count is 32 nearly 1/3 of our goal for 2016.

Over 1/2 half of our 32 named teams have entered the Trophy Count.

This coming weekend begins the first NCAA Certified weekend for this season. Older teams are offered EXPOSURE tournaments. Division I and other college coaches will be in attendance at games. Some of the most highly rated teams in the nation will be in attendance. The Best playing the Best. The goal is for our teams playing in these tournaments is to win at least 3 games. That's trophy status and above all your team will be seen by more coaches. More games you play more opportunities to be seen.

Now for teams that are not in NCAA Certified events, please do not slack up. College coaches will be at these official events and who knows who will be attending these non official events. You never know who is watching. Be prepared, Be Discipline.

I received our first shipment of Family, Friends and Fans t-shirts. It is a limited supply. There are tees supporting the boys, the girls and both either in general. See picture below. Place your orders in writing by replying to this email. First come, first served. I have all adult sizes but again in limited supply. Another order will be submitted depending on demand.The tees are $10 each. Cash on Delivery. No IOUs. Just Business and remember nothing in life is free.

I also have about 15 2x red anniversary tees.  That's the only size have left. Also, $10 each. Same rules apply.

Please encourage your fans to purchase these tees. It makes the teams feel that they have the home crowd. And home teams tend to win more. Just saying.
