Off to College - Bakari Copeland

Congratulations to Bakari Copeland, Freshman - Student Athlete - Charleston Southern University. Bakari, a graduate of Arabia Mountain High School in Dekalb County, is the son of proud parents, Mr. & Mrs. Clyde Copeland.

Bakari has had a stellar basketball career with his recreation, AAU and school teams. He is a former member of the Mighty Atlanta Select SILVER team (2009-11} coached by his father.

But now he is moving to the next level, a student and basketball player at Charleston Southern University.

Personal: Active member of Rainbow Park Baptist Church and helps lead the church’s Open Gym Ministry, an outreach program for young males in the South DeKalb community to participate in this Christ-centered basketball program.
