Atlanta Select Salutes the WNBA Eastern Conference Champions, the Atlanta Dream. After only 3 years in the WNBA, the Atlanta Dream played in the championship round. No other Atlanta professional team has been this successful so quickly. For this, all Atlantans should be proud.
Several Atlanta Select coaches were in attendance at the championship game on Thursday night. Coach and Mrs. Lanier, Coach and Mrs. Ayers, Coach Hollaway, Coach Norman, Coach V and Coach Z plus several Atlanta Select student athletes were in the large crowd cheering the Dream along.
Loosing by only a few points in the three games played was a disappointment but what an honor to see these ladies end the season with class and style. We are proud of our association with the Atlanta Dream and wish them the best next season.
