with Head Coach "Shaka" Harris earned
Runner-up honors at the Douglasville Classic last weekend.
This is their fourth trophy for the season and it brings the total for the organization to
77.

A shout out to Coach Wallace and his two COLLEGE Bound teams that traveled to Columbia, SC for a
Tournament R Us tournament last weekend.
Many of the parents traveled with the team and they all had a great time.

The Big event for the organization this coming weekend is the joint tournament -
Atlanta Select & Big Shots.
Twelve Atlanta Select teams will be participating out of a total number of 46 teams.

by Atlanta Select teams.

A couple of our student athletes are receiving major accolades.
Tyler Thornton – South Atlanta (GA) – Atlanta Select – 2017
He is a long armed shot blocker with great patience and timing that alters more shots than he blocks. He has the ability to put up big numbers in both points and rebounds scoring off the post feed or getting his own on the offensive glass.
Myles Black – (Atlanta, GA) – Atlanta Select – 2018
During the Sweet 16 Session II, Black had multiple twenty-point game performances. This 6-foot-2 guard was good attacking the basket where he can finish at the rim or stop for the pull up jumper. He’ll make shots in bunches and when he gets, Black is a player to keep an eye on in Georgia’s 2018 class.
