Two Mighty Select Nation teams will be on the road this weekend. The Mighty Atlanta Select 10u BLACK 2023 will be in Washington D.C. area at the Maryland Invitational Tournament (MIT) and the Mighty Atlanta Select 16u RED will be in Louisville KY at the 7 States Border Battle. These two tournaments are the major grass-root basketball tournaments during this month of the season.
The MIT assembled the top teams throughout the nation to the Nation's capital to play basketball. The best in the nation is always represented. We are honored and proud that our Mighty 10u BLACK 2023 team will represent the Select Nation. They are well prepared. They have won 8 trophies for the season including defeating the the number one 10u team in the state. Well, I guess that makes them number one.
In addition to playing in a very competitive tournament the team will take some time to visit the historical sites in the D.C. metropolitan area.

The 7 States Border Battle brings the best teams bordering Kentucky to this well known tournament. The states of Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, Missouri and Illinois. Where is Georgia? Oh, Georgia does not border Kentucky but we are breaking in and let these states know that Georgia is to be recognized. The Mighty Atlanta Select 16u RED team will be there to represent. They are well prepared earning 8 trophies this season to include earning the title as number 2 in the AAU State.
Georgia may not be a border state of Kentucky but the Atlanta Select Mighty 16u RED team will let the border states know that we are equally represented on the Unites States map.
