Hello Select Nation Family and Friends.

Another  fantastic weekend. The Nation earned 4 trophies.

The Mighty 9U Team SYNERGY, old name 9U SILVER, With Coaches Baskerville, Stewart and Butler, Champions - Hoops 2 Dunk Cancer Classic.

Congratulations to the Select players that made the Hoops 2 Dunk Cancer All-Tournament team:

Dravius Jackson, Gordon LaGrove and Tyrek Woods the Mighty 9U Team SYNERGY.

Khessli Ingram the Mighty 12U RED Team.

The Mighty 10U BLACK 2023, with Coaches Chan and Tabb, Champions - AAU Super Regional, N. Augusta SC. Team earned a bid to the AAU Nationals.

The Mighty 13U COLLEGE Bound, with Coaches Woods and Johnson, Runner Up - EOTO Classic at New Birth Lithonia GA.

The Mighty 16U SILVER, with Coaches Hill, Hill and Harris - Runner Up - St Patrick's Day Classic Tournament R Us.

Congratulations to all. The Trophy Count now is 19, only 81 more to go. Can we get 25 by the end of the month? If we average 25 each for April, May and the rest of the season we should easily achieve our goal of 100. If each team average 3 then 3 times 35 = 105. Should be easy. A man must have a goal.

We welcome our newest Head Coaches and team, the Mighty Unsigned Seniors (Team PREEMINENT) with Coach Al Hansbrough and Mrs. Maddox.

This weekend will be more exciting. We have teams participating in the two competing Hardwood Classics, (The Dobbs Creek Classic and the AAU Super Regional at McEachern HS) the Georgia Cup and in the YBOA Wheeler Classic. 

We now have over 200 Atlanta Select members for 2015. Some question why must you get an AAU membership since we may not play any AAU tournament? Because we are an AAU official organization and all members who wear Atlanta Select must be AAU members.
