Another fantastic weekend (Memorial Day Weekend) in which Atlanta Select teams played in Panama City, FL., Orlando, FL., New Orleans , LA., and throughout Metro Atlanta.
The Mighty Atlanta Select Lady Select 14u RED team played in the
Annual YBOA "Battle at the Beach" in Panama City FL
and won the 8th/9th Grade Division championship.
The team, coached by Coaches McCrae and McCadney, has played in ten tournaments this season and has won the the championship in all.
Congratulations to this Mighty team.

A special shout out to our newest team, the mighty Atlanta Select 15u RED Alpharetta Team with Head Coaches Bridges and Lee.
The team under their leadership played in their first tournament of the season and earned their first trophy. They were "Runner-up" in the Tournament R Us Memorial Day Weekend Classic.
The hard work that this team has been doing the last month has paid off.

The Mighty Atlanta Select 15u COLLEGE Bound team under the leadership of Head Coach Wallace captured their first championship of the season.
They played their brothers, the 15u Atlanta Select Mighty RED Alpharetta team in the championship game and won by 2 points. A great game for both teams.
Squad #Worked hard, played unselfishly, stayed tough when scores were tight, had fun and made stops and buckets when they had to. #CollegeBound #Champions.
Yes, the team has worked extremely hard this season and it is a fact that hard work pays off. We are extremely proud of the growth and development of this team.

One of our newest guys on the team. Sincere has only been playing for six months, but dominated this tournament, even had a double double in the championship game!

It's hard enough when brother vs. brother Atlanta Select teams play each other but still worst when twin brothers Atlanta Select teams play each other.
Head Coach Morris organized two 16u BLACK 2018 teams this season, One east and the other West. They met in the semi-final game.
The West team won by 5 points and then played in the championship game losing by 2 points in overtime.
Kudos to the West team, but as far as I am concern they both are special.

The Ladies of the Atlanta Select Lady Select BLACK Diamond group combined forces to play in the "Rebels Battle of the South Tournament last weekend. Many of the players were on vacation doing the weekend thus, the several BLACK Diamond ladies form two teams.
And The BLACK Diamond Elite earned a trophy.
Congratulations to BLACK Diamond Elite and Coach Mandeldove for adding to the
Trophy Count.
