The Lady Select Team Future finished 2nd in the
D1 National Championship
Wow! What a weekend. the Lady Select stole the show at the D1 Spects national championship. As they lived up to our motto of being Confident, Aggressive, and Relentless as they went to battle in the 1st grade & 3rd grade Boys Division. The crowd was excited about the play of our young ladies.
I have never received so many compliments about my teams play.
In 3rd grade division on Sunday we dominated the Atlanta Warriors 19-10. We lost in the Semi Finals to the J3 Ball Club. We gained a lot of respect from our opponents their coach, and parents.
We made it to the championship in the 1st grade Div. It was a rematch between us and the Metro Kings. They jumped out to 10pt lead before we settled down and made adjustments. We settled in and tied the game in the 3rd qtr. We got some big shots from Taylor Harris & Indigo Brown who both hits 3pts. With the return of our All-American Camille Files and the reemergence of Kahli Ingram. We were right back in it. We tied the game with 1 min to go, but couldn't secure a rebound giving them several opportunities to win the game. They took advantage of this.
It was a very entertaining game.
Experience like these are so valuable in this young ladies lives. 10 days until we make our Dreams come True.
