Congratulations Atlanta Select student athletes and coaches. Coach Walker (10th Grade BLACK Team) and Coach Payton (11th/12th Grades SILVER teams) combined a team of Atlanta Select players to participate in the Hot Shot Independent-Invitational tournament on February 11&12, 2011.
The tournament was designed for schools and organizations that do not have an opportunity to participate in a State tournament.
The purpose was to provide "EXPOSURE" to outstanding student athletes. The winning team will be featured in the next copy of the "Hot Shot" magazine and the game recorded for Hot Shot TV and Ihigh.com.
Well, Atlanta Select won the championship and will be featured in the next issue of the magazine. Jonathan Tinch was highlighted as a distinguished athlete who scored 40 points in the championship game.
It is all about EXPOSURE. Atlanta Select is committed to provide an opportunity for exposure to all and any hardworking, disciplined, enthusiastic, academically qualified and talented student athletes. These student athletes represented the organization extremely well. Go Select!
