A little over ten years ago Jason (JayBee) Brown joined Atlanta Select as an assistant coach and since that time he has proven to be one of the hardest working coaches within the organization.
He was recognized and honored at the recent annual Atlanta Select Coaches meeting as the hardest working coach for the last 10+ years.
He was a saleman at an adidas outlet at Sugarfloft Mall. One day Coach Z was there shopping while wear his Atlanta Select tee. JayBee wanted to know what that tee was all about and once he found out he could not stop asking questions. Coach Z found out that he was passionate about joining the organization and provided him an opportunity to connect with the Atlanta Select coaching staff.
He volunteered to participate with the Atlanta Select coaches basktball team in local tournements and, thus, the fellow coaches saw his
talent, passion and dedication.
He earned their respect and was allowed to be an assistant coach with one of the senior coaches (Head Coach Eugene Sanders) in the organization.
He then went on to assist many other head coaches and became a head coach about 6 years ago.
He has earned the title as one of the hardest working coaches.
