It's that time of year, the peak basketball season in the Spring.
Major tournaments, many
Showcase and NCAA Certified events.
And you can hurry up and believe that Atlanta Select teams will be participating.
For instance, this weekend we have 7 teams participating in the Indi-hoops Tip-off Classic
Three 17u teams - Select Team Elite, Black East, Black West
Two 16u teams - COLLEGE Bound, PRIME
Two 15u teams - COLLEGE Bound , SILVER (BF)

Several of our teams have been playing for the last few weeks and gaining accolades for the team and for individual players.
17u Select Elite with Coaches Tony Burton and Phillip Venson did battle at the Georgia Cup II, entering the final four playing some of the top teams in the nation.
Julian Baldwin, number 34 above, made the High School All Tournament team at the event.

In The Georgia Cup I, three players from the Mighty 16u PRIME (Coach Hall) team Made the All -Tournament team.

Yes, just a little bit EXPOSURE.
And last weekend Assad Lawson on the Mighty 14u Select SCHOLARS dropped 23 and 26 points in bracket play at the Future 150 Atlanta Showcase.

And what about the ladies.
The BLACK Diamonds with Coach Mandeldove and his Cadre are winning in Tennessee and locally.
The BLACK Diamond Elite won the championship at the Rocky Top tournament two weeks ago.
And last weekend The BLACK Diamond Future and Select combined their teams, played against boys and won the championship.
Plus the BLACK Diamond Premiere and Elite combined their teams and came in second playing against 11u boys at the Southeast Super-fest tournament.

The Lady Select RED 15u with Coach McCrae won the Championship playing up in the varsity division.
The Lady Select Black 15u played JV and won the championship.
The Lady Select SILVER 14u earned second place in tournaments two weeks ago.

The Mighty 16U/17u PHENOM had their first tournament a couple of weeks ago and finished positively with a 2-1 record.

Congratulations to the Mighty 11u Atlanta Select "Sons of Thunder" (Coach Cooke) Runner-up in the championship AAU District/State tournament.
Qualified for the AAU Division I Nationals.

at MOREHOUSE COLLEGE
as a 6'3" 200 lbs SG/SF.
Bryant said,
