Saturday was a good day overall. Several teams are undefeated.
Coach McCrae and the Mighty 6th Grade Lady Select RED
Coach Powell and the Mighty 11th Grade SILVER East

Coach Hill and the Mighty 9th Grade SILVER
Coach Lawson and the Mighty 5th Grade RED
Coach Frazier and the Mighty 6th Grade SILVER
Coaches Thompson and Stephens and the Mighty 7th Grade BLACK Elite
The teams participating in Bob Gibbons that lost on Friday night bounced back and won their first game on Saturday with the exception of one. Finishing with a 1 - 2 record at Bob Gibbons and showing that they can compete were:
Coach Venson and the Mighty 11th Grade CLASSIC
Coach Lee and the MIGHTY 11th Grade RED Elite
Coach Carpenter and the Mighty 11th Grade SILVER West
Coach Mays and the Mighty 10th Grade BLACK
At the AAU District/State Coach Ricker and the Mighty 9th Grade CLASSIC bounced back Saturday morning after losing Friday night. They are in the running for a bid to the AAU Nationals.
Our teams (Coach Johnson and his Mighty 7th Grade COLLEGE BOUND, Coach Hines and his Mighty 7th Grade RED and Coach Woods and His Mighty 6th Grade COLLEGE BOUND) in Augusta at the Anthony Carter Classic are winning games and playing this Sunday morning. If they make it to the finals the games will be played Sunday night. Wow.
Our Lady Select 8th Grade Lady Select BLACK with Coach Howard had a tough beginning to the AAU State. Keep fighting.
Our Harris and his Mighty 3d Grade SILVER team played 5 games on Saturday finishing 3 - 2. Bracket play was eliminated and the team given a partial refund.
Coach Ferrell and his Mighty 9th Grade RED team are in the semifinals this morning after winning two games on yesterday.
Coach Wallace and the Mighty 11th Grade VISION is in bracket play this morning.
Coach AC Christopher and his Mighty 8th Grade SILVER East is in the playoffs at the USBA tournament in Lithonia.
