Atlanta Select TRYOUTS
TRYOUTS!
1. We are looking for dedicated, talented student-athletes who are willing to work hard to improve their basketball, educational and life skills and have the desire to compete on the state and national AAU, YBOA and BCI youth basketball levels.
2. To become a student-athlete for the “ATL SELECT”, parents and student-athletes must:
a. Select our organization by submitting an application (Registration and Code of Conduct forms) to the association. Applications should be submitted during February, 2011. Note: Forms may be downloaded from our registration page www.atlselect.com. If you are unable to download forms, you may request forms by calling (770) 808-4444 or e-mail: gzeigler9@aol.com.
b. Contact the head coach for the age group you are applying for and indicate your interest. The association will contact you on your tryout date and the location. A list of head coaches can be found in the "Current NEWS" and "Guest Book"
on the web site.
c. Q: How will the players be selected?
A: Through the tryout process players will be evaluated on their basketball skills, knowledge, athleticism, and attitude. Coaches and evaluators will be weighing all these factors in selecting team members.
d. Q: How many teams per age bracket will there be?
A: Most age brackets will have one to three teams depending on the number of coaches and players at each level.
e. Be prepared to begin practice the first week in March 2011.
3. Remember: You select us, we select you!
