Atlanta Select would like to congratulate the Mighty SILVER Teams of the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades for an extremely successful year. With nearly every player finishing the year on the A-B Honor Roll and these teams earning nearly 20 trophies for the season including third place at the nationals was quite a feat. Coaches Baskerville, Carpenter, Powell, Salley, Lottie. Webb, Christopher and others are to be commended for supervising such a successful program. Thanks to the parents for their wholehearted support. A job well done. Go Select!

Atlanta Select Coaches Trained in CPR and First Aid - Mandatory

Atlanta Select coaches for the 2012 season will be First Aid and CPR certified. There is no more important "Life Skills" then to know the steps to provide first aid or CPR if needed in an emergency situation. Thus, all Atlanta Select coaches, head coaches and assistants, will be required to take the necessary training and obtain the required certification.

You are Invited - ABA Signing Party - Coach Payton East Point Jaguars Head Coach

Attention Atlanta Select Family, Friends and Fans. Our own Coach Payton, Head Coach of the 2011 Eleventh/Twelfth Grade SILVER team, has been selected Head Coach of the new ABA basketball team, the East Point Jaguars. We are invited to attend the signing party on Friday, August 12, 2011, at the SKYBOXX Restaurant and Sports Bar, 2180 Mt. Zion Parkway, Morrow, GA 31260. 


Congratulations goes to Coach Payton for his selection. Coach Payton lead his Atlanta Select 17u/18u SILVER team to seven championships last season including the National NSABA championship. Several of his players from his team last season have accepted scholarships to college. 


We are proud of Coach Payton and wish him the best.

Friday Nights Sights - Six Atlanta Select Teams in Action.

Five Atlanta Select teams are playing in the Atlanta Select "Back to School Summer Jam" and two teams playing in another local tournament, one team is playing in both tournaments.

All others at the Andy Young YMCA in the Atlanta Select PRIME Tournament.
