ATLANTA RECREATIONAL DEPARTMENT CITY WIDE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to Coach G. Stewart (Atlanta Select 12u Boys Team Black) and Coach T. McCrae (Lady Select 13u Team White) for winning the citywide recreational department basketball championships. Their teams have won this title for several years in a row. Now their recreational teams are preparing for the 2009 AAU Atlanta Select season with goals of earning several more championships. Congratulations to these student athletes for proving that they are year around champions in all leagues.

ATLANTA SELECT's YOUNGEST TEAM, 8U BOYS TEAM RED

Coach Keithan James has become the Head Coach for the Atlanta Select's Youngest Boys Team, the 8u Boys Team Red. Coach James worked previously with the 16u boys but after a very rewarding "Skills Development Training Season" he elected to work with a younger age group. This very skilled coach has the patience and relaxing temperament to work and train the beginners in the Atlanta Select Basketball program.
