Sonia Forney Two young ladies from the Mighty Tenth Grade Lady Select SILVER Team (coached by Coach Carla Hollaway) last AAU season, participated in the D1Spects All Star weekend, Aug 18-19, 2012. "Sonia Forney from Newton County High School is one of the best student-athlete that I have coached in my career" states Coach Hollaway. She is a leader by nature, very touchable, hard worker and was very key to the success of the Lady Select SILVER team last season, Coach Hollaway says that she is looking forward working with Sonia next AAU season. Stephanie Silavong is the point guard for ML, Jr. High School. Coach Hollaway has coached her since she was in the 8th grade. Coach Hollaway was her Middle School coach and has watched her grow into an impeccable point guard. "Like Sonia, she is also a hard worker, leader and knows when to take over a game when her team is not performing well" says Coach Hollaway. Coach Hollaway thanks Sonia and Stephanie for the trust they placed in her and wish them the best in high school this year. Atlanta Select, also, sends Kudos to these fine young ladies who represented the organization with class and style.
